About Rail Delivery Services

Our Fontana Facility/ Transportation Base. Our new, custom-designed, high-tech facility in Fontana, California is located two miles north of I-10 and two miles east of I-15 in the center of Southern California's transportation hub. We are just north of the California Speedway, west of Cherry Avenue, in the San Savane Redevelopment District of the County of San Bernardino.

Our five acre facility includes 22 truck doors, 58,000 square feet of warehousing and three acres of parking within a ten-mile radius of 80 percent of the largest inland distribution centers serving California. The facility is designed to handle assembly and distribution as well as transloading and load securement.

To assure the highest quality service to our customers, state-of-the-art voice and data communications technology has been embraced by Rail Delivery Services, including redundant broadband wireless local networks and dedicated uninterruptable power.

Leaders in Industry. RDS people have always been active in the industry and our management have assumed numerous industry leadership roles. We were a founding member of the American Trucking Associations Intermodal Council and of the Intermodal Steering Committee of the California Trucking Association. RDS is an active member of the American Trucking Associations (ATA) and its Intermodal Conference, the California Trucking Association (CTA) and the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA).
